Do you have ideas for SciFest but don't know how to realise them? Are you interested in popular science and research information aimed at children and young people?
SciFest is a science festival that takes place between 9 and 11 October. You will have the opportunity to showcase your research/activities in an interactive way. Expect lots of questions and exciting discussions! The target audience includes school classes and the public. The festival is well attended, with up to 8,000 visitors during the three days.
But how can you create an interesting activity? Our museum educators are here to help!
In the workshop, we will go through the different steps to create an interesting and target group-adapted activity for SciFest 2024.
The goal is for you as an exhibitor to get practical and tangible tips on what you should consider both during the planning and implementation of your activity.
Leif Hallsén (high school teacher and museum educator) and Cecilia Ödman (responsible for public activities at Gustavianum) will share successful and less successful examples.
We offer coffee/tea and buns. Max 16 participants per session. The workshop is in English.
