SLU has a new centre for honey bee research. On 2 May, at 16:00, Vice Chancellor Maria Knutson Wedel will inaugurate it and you are also welcome to attend. There will be a short presentation, sparkling apple cider and pastries with honey.
This is an opportunity to learn more about honey bees and why SLU has established a centre. You will also visit our hives, which are essential for research.
You don't need to register! Just drop by.

Our mission is to support and strengthen research activities on honey bees in Sweden. We maintain beekeeping infrastructure at SLU’s Uppsala campus with honey bee colonies used to facilitate research, but also education, collaborations, and open house activities.
