Starting this spring, SLU will offer both current and newly admitted students on our international programmes the opportunity to join the Goin’ app.
Goin’ is a social network for new students, allowing them to connect and build a community even before arriving at SLU. Through the platform, students can find future classmates, meet others with similar interests and backgrounds, and support each other in preparing for their move to Sweden.
On Goin’, students can:
• Meet others with shared interests and hobbies
• Join groups based on their study programme and location
• Connect with fellow students from their home country
• Build new friendships before the semester begins
The purpose of Goin’ is to strengthen students’ sense of community and support a smoother transition into university life.
Joining Goin’ is completely voluntary. Current students will receive their invitations in March, while newly admitted students will be invited in early April.
Please note that the app is exclusively for students and is not a channel for asking questions to the university – SLU staff will not be active on Goin’.
Students in Swedish-language programmes will be invited to Goin’ in the second half of 2025.
