Removal of trees on Campus Ultuna

The students’ union building on Campus Ultuna is subsiding, and according to the engineering investigation that has been carried out the subsidence is caused by the lime trees at the northern end of the building.
Choosing another solution than removing the trees would be too costly and complex. This work will be taking place in February/March 2023.
To compensate for the trees that will be removed, Akademiska hus will be planting new trees on the lawn close to the amphitheatre.
