I am a PhD student in the Agricultural Plant Pathology group at the department of Forest Mycology and Plant Pathology. My Phd research is focused on the biocontrol of Septoria tritici blotch using Clonostachys rosea in various winter wheat genotypes.
Teaching
Plant Pathology (BI 1044) - Teaching assistant - 2021 to present
Research
The current research project is funded by SLU Grogrund as part of Breeding for Biologicals: Plant breeding for optimized interactions between crops and biologicals to enhance pest management and production with reduced agrochemical use
In this project, we aim to:
- identify the plant genes that are needed for successful promotion by microorganisms (biological control agents)
- develop optimal methodologies to implement the new knowledge into plant breeding
- optimize methodologies (e.g., seed- and leaf applications) needed for utilizing the breeding benefits in agriculture
The project is in collaboration with Lantmännen Lantbruk, Svalöv, Sweden.
