I am a researcher and teacher in horticultural science. My research concerns mainly plant nutrition in various horticultural production systems. Another research field regards plant uptake of heavy metals, mainly cadmium, and it´s transfer to humans with the vegetal part of our food.

• Cadmium content in potatoes. Effects of different production strategies.
• Organic production systems for high bush blueberries.
• Growth control of ornamental greenhouse plants with advanced light regimes provided with LEDs.
• Phytoremediation of heavy metals with algae.
Background
MSc In Biology 1985 and PhD in Plant Physiology 1991 at Lund University Sweden. Associate professor in Horticulture (mineral nutrition) 1996 at SLU.
