SLU Landscape Days 2024

Walk for the senses

Welcome to the annual meeting for all employees engaged in SLU Landscape. The meeting will be held at Campus Alnarp October 9-10 from lunch to lunch and contains a rich program with lectures, workshops, and social activities.

Among the keynote speakers are:

  • Maggie Roe, Professor of landscape and co-director of the Center for landscape at Newcastle University. Maggie, who has a huge experience of publication within the field of Landscape Research, and a long experience of teaching and research in landscape in UK and internationally, will talk to us about ”Landscape Approaches for Transformative Change”
  • Johan Folkesson, landscape architect & chief architect at Trafikverket. We will celebrate that Johan has received the 2024 SLU Alumnus award.
  • Emma Flygare, Chalmers University of Technology and coordinator of “Arkitekturakademin” – a collaboration between SLU Landscape, LTH Architecture, Chalmers Architecture, Umeå Architecture and KTH Architecture.

See detailed programme below.

We recommend you to stay in Lund (as it is nowadays easier accessible by bus than Malmö and the dinner will be held there). Remember to download the Skånetrafiken app in order to buy tickets. Read more here
