events | seminars, workshops |
Water in the sunset.

Join us and discuss how SLU’s expertise can be used to solve emerging and existing challenges on sustainable water resource management, from water sources via forests, agricultural and urban landscapes to coastal and marine areas. Together we provide solutions in support of Agenda 2030.

In our session at the World Water Week 2021, we will discuss how SLU's expertise can be used to create change, educate for future solutions, and solve emerging and existing challenges on sustainable water resource management.

The pressures on water resources and life in water are steadily increasing and there is an urgent need for knowledge-based solutions to meet the challenges of Agenda 2030 and UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Follow our work on water from its sources via forest, agricultural and urban landscapes to coastal and marine areas, in research, education, environmental monitoring and management support to decision makers, and built on collaboration with stakeholders on the local as well as global arena.

This year, the week will be held as a full-scale digital event August 23-27.
