Seminar: Presentation of the SLU - Vietnam evaluation

Welcome to participate in a seminar that highlights the results and lessons from the SLU - Vietnam collaborations 1977-2018. The importance of international collaborations to tackle the current global challenges will also be discussed.

SLU:s Vice-Chancellor Maria Knutson Wedel opens the seminar followed by a presentation about the evaluation held by Dr. Solveig Freudenthal. A solid panel will discuss the role of the agricultural and environmental sciences and international collaborations to tackle the current global challenges. An open discussion with all participants will end the seminar.
Vietnam’s Ambassador to Sweden, H.E. Phan Dang Duong and Sweden’s Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Ann Måwe will participate in the seminar, as well as representatives from SLU, and several universities and research institutes in Vietnam.

Moderator: Annika Åhnberg, Honorary Doctor at SLU and former Swedish Minister of Agriculture.

NB. There will be two different online meetings about the SLU - Vietnam collaborations. In addition to the seminar there will be a workshop 1 October. The workshop aims to be more informal with discussions in different thematic groups
