SLU Landscape Days in Ultuna 2019

On the upcoming SLU Landscape days we have the pleasure to announce Sweden’s new ”State Architect”, Helena Bjarnegård and two keynote speakers: Tim Gill, Independent scholar, advocate and consultant on childhood and Prof. Ann-Katrin Bäcklund, Director of Pufendorf Institute, Lund University.

The Landscape Days is planned in connection to Uppsala Health summit, this year’s focus is Healthy Urban Childhoods and how to build our cities with and for children.

Wednesday, October 9

Sweden’s new ”State Architect”, Helena Bjarnegård will present the LTV Honorary Doctoral Lecture.

Thursday, October 10

Tim Gill, Independent scholar, advocate and consultant on childhood, will make a keynote speach with the title From knowledge and vision to implementation of Child-friendly Urban Planning and Design. Insights from cities in Europe and Canada. Read more

Ann-Katrin Bäcklund, Director of Pufendorf Institute, Lund University, will make a keynote speach named Why inter- and transdisciplinarity, and how?​ and engage in discussion with representatives of SLU Landscape. Read more
