New development plan to strengthen the future of Alnarpsparken

The development plan for Alnarpsparken has now been completed – a long-term strategic document outlining how the park’s unique environments should be preserved, developed and used in the future.

The plan was developed by Ecogain on behalf of SLU and Akademiska Hus, with support from “Alnarpsparkens vänner”, who also initiated the project. The purpose of the plan is to provide direction for the future management and development of the park, with the aim of preserving and strengthening its importance for research, education, recreation and society.

“The development plan will serve as an important foundation for the joint work of SLU and Akademiska Hus to preserve and develop Alnarpsparken for the future,” says Sara Kyrö Wissler, project leader for campus development at Alnarp.

From SLU, Sara Kyrö Wissler and Karl Lövrie participated in the project together with representatives from the cultivation unit, who contributed their expertise.
