Microsoft 365 – New deadline and updated instruction

The deadline has been extended to September 1, 2026
By then you must have moved or deleted documents and emails containing classified information or sensitive personal data that have been stored in cloud services.
The expectation is that everyone will now have enough time to complete this important data clean-up, which we as a public authority must carry out in order to comply with applicable legal requirements.
Revised instruction – secure folder in Outlook (PST)
We have previously instructed you to create a secure folder in Outlook, a so-called PST file. Unfortunately, it has become apparent that many users have experienced problems with corrupted files (the saved emails cannot be opened). We have therefore revised our instructions.
