Current information about new telecom operator

The portation to Tele2 will take place on the night before the start of the working day on October 25, 2023. There might be some disturbances in the telephone service during the night.

You will keep your current telephone number and extension.

There is a special plan for UDS, they will receive separate information.

New sim-cards

New sim-cards will be distributed about one week prior to the change by a local dedicated person who will contact you or hand out the card to you. Instructions how to switch sim card will be included.

In the morning October 25 past 7 o’clock, shift to the new sim-card. PLEASE NOTE do not shift earlier as this affects the configurations of the telephone. 

If you run in to difficulties to shift your sim card October 25 the IT service desk at Alnarp, Umeå and Ulltuna can help you. At other locations the same person who handed out sim cards can help you. 

Better mobile access

Tele2 is working with a new better mobile access in the buildings with limited mobile signal service range, most of them are up and running in the near future. The goal is a better service range than today.

The project will continue to inform via the staff web and e-mail during the autumn.
