The Faculty Board had its second meeting for the year on 10 February. This meeting consisted mostly of information points.
The faculty's economists Inger Alderborn and Jimmy Karlsson reported on the outcome of the economic development for 2021.
The VH Faculty's full-year result in 2021 is positive and amounts to SEK 8.7 million, which is just over SEK 18 million better than planned. The surpluses are found in all areas, but mainly in research. Revenues exceeded the budget by SEK 15 million (2 %) while costs were SEK 3 million lower than budgeted (0.2 %).
Six of the faculty's seven departments show an overall result that is better than planned.
The VH Faculty's capitalized capital in the financial statements amounts to SEK 83.9 million and most of this (82.5) million is within the accounting area of research.
Project leader Anders Bjurstam and the program board’s chairwoman Johanna Pernell informed about the latest in the expansion of veterinary and veterinary nursing programmes. Current information is always available on this page (in Swedish).
Faculty secretary Kristina Jungnelius reported on the overall planning of what the faculty board will address during the year.
Sarah Hedenskog presented the process of recruitment and how it looks like at VH faculty.
