New vice deans at the VH Faculty

On 27 January, the new VH Faculty Board had its first meeting. The agenda had only one item, appointing new faculty vice-deans.
“Defining areas of responsibility for the vice-deans is a delicate task. Their work is so important and must benefit all of the faculty. We run a complex operation where every part matters”, says dean Rauni Niskanen.
For the period 2022–2024, the faculty board decided, after a proposal from the dean, to define the following areas of responsibility and appoint the following vice deans:
Undergraduate and Master’s courses and programmes: Johanna Penell, senior lecturer at the Department of Clinical Sciences
Collaboration: Renee Båge, senior lecturer at the Department of Clinical Sciences
Doctoral studies: Lena Lidfors, professor at the Department of Animal Environment and Health
Research infrastructure: Johan Dicksved, researcher at the Department of Animal Nutrition and Management
The period of office for the vice deans is the same as for the faculty board with a 3-month delay, meaning they take up their posts on 1 April.
