Mistra Food Futures has started!

The official kick off for Mistra Food Futures was held Thursday 17 September. Mistra Food Futures is a research programme hosted by SLU and funded by Mistra.
Professor Helena Hansson at the department is one of the two programme directors.
- How could we change the food production to reduce the climate impact?
- How should we change our food consumtion?
- What obstacles and possibilities will we meet on the road towards a sustainable food system in Sweden?
The aim of Mistra Food Futures is to create a science-based platform to enable transformation of the Swedish food system into one that is sustainable in all three dimensions (economic, social and environmental) and that is resilient and delivers healthy diets.
