If you have been infected with Covid-19

If you have tested positive for Covid-19, the Communicable Diseases Act requires that you inform anyone you, in turn, may have infected. That way, the spread of the virus can be reduced.

This is what you must do if you have tested positive for Covid-19:

  • Stay at home and follow current Covid-19 guidelines. Read more at 1177.se.
  • Contact your line manager, or your teacher and students' union if you are a student, and tell them where you have been and where you have met other colleagues or students.

If you are a manager or teacher/course coordinator and an employee or student informs you that they have tested positive, you must follow the contact tracing procedure. More information is available on the corona pages on the web:
