Nominate candidates for the 2020 Medals for Distinguished Service

This year, SLU is awarding its three Medals for Distinguished Service for the eleventh time. All employees are welcome to nominate candidates, and the deadline for nominations is 30 April.
The medals were instituted by the SLU Board in 2009, and they were awarded for the first time in 2010. The SLU Board decides who will be awarded the medals.
The three medals
- The Great Medal for Distinguished Service is reserved for research efforts deemed "remarkable from an international perspective".
- The smaller gold medal awards "exemplary, exceptional efforts of lasting value".
- The silver medal goes to a young, promising talent, for example "within the area of innovation and collaboration".

Nominate a candidate
All SLU employees have the right to nominate candidates for these awards. Nominations must be submitted in writing, a maximum of two pages, and contain both a presentation of the nominee as well as a justification. The justification must explain in what way the nominee's work has benefitted SLU or our sector. If a nomination is submitted by more than one person, please give the name of the contact person/main nominator.
Send you nominations in a sealed envelope to Registrator, Box 7070, 750 07 Uppsala by Thursday 30 April the latest. Mark the envelope "Nominering förtjänstmedalj".
