I am a trained Architect and Urban Planner who is currently pursuing a PhD in Landscape Planning at SLU Ultuna under the supervision of Mattias Qviström and Johan Pries (Lund University). In both my masters at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the University of Brasilia, the landscape was a central concept and field of analysis, where I primarily investigated the role of landscape discourses in shaping everyday experiences and on the translations of modernist models such as parkways and green wedges. My current research aims to reposition the extensive debates on models that have already been mainstreamed in the history of architectural theory, urban history, and philosophy of science within the context of landscape and green space planning. More specifically, I am examining the acts of modeling in Brasilia, the modernist capital of Brazil, and Stockholm, the capital of Sweden at the height of the Welfare-State era through archival research, policy analysis, and theoretical instigations.
