Research
Earthworms
I am interested in studying the ecophysiological response of earthworms burrowing activity to environmental stressors, such as soil compaction and soil temperature. To quantify these ecophysiological responses, I apply different techniques that include CT X-ray imaging and calorimetry.
Soil Management
Another research area I am interested in is how agricultural soil management could be a helpful tool to adapt to future adverse climate scenarios. My current research is focused on identifying and quantifying sinergic effects of tillage, soil compaction and crop selection under drought conditions in a Swedish context.
