Supervision lunch seminar - To supervise neurodiverse doctoral students, including those with ADHD and autism (In English)

At this seminar, challenges and opportunities that PhD students with ADHD and autism may experience throughout their doctoral studies will be presented. The discussion will address how these neurodevelopmental conditions can influence various aspects of the PhD journey, including research planning, academic writing, time management, and social interaction within academic environments at different phases of the PhD-journey. In addition, the competences and pedagogical approaches that supervisors need when working with doctoral students in general will be compared with the specific skills and awareness required to support students with ADHD and autism.
