Studium Generale: Death or a bad day – famous last words

Welcome to a perky series of conversations on gloom. This time on the theme of haiku.

When words are no longer enough, poetry can take over. In this session, a writer will guide you in exploring the haiku form, where a couple of lines can tell you everything.

Had I not known
that I was dead
already
I would have mourned
my loss of life

Ōta Dōkan (1432-1486)

  • The library will be serving sandwiches.
