Welcome to participate in a digital seminar with Magnus Halling who has been conducting research and variety testing of forage crops for four decades. On February 28, Magnus will retire, and we look forward to hear him summarize his work and research.
Magnus Halling started as a PhD student in crop science at SLU April 1, 1981. At this seminar, he will share his rich knowledge and experiences from his career.
He has been responsible for the variety testing - the unit at SLU testing whether new varieties of crops have good enough traits to be grown on the Swedish fields.
Magnus has for several years been the chairman of SLU Fältforsk Theme Group Cultivation Materials as well as responsible for the Ultuna Climate Station.
The presentation will be in English, but you can ask questions in Swedish during the discussion.
