What is data management?

The concept of data management includes how to organise data, how to store data and how to best publish and share data. Planning data management before, during and at the end of a project is a key element.

SLU's data management support service

To provide support for all aspects of data management, SLU has brought together existing support functions to form a joint support service for research and environmental assessment data. The support service includes data management specialists, IT experts, archivists, lawyers, research advisors, information security specialists and librarians. The units involved in the collaboration are listed in at the bottom of this page.
