As an employee at SLU, you have the option to connect your SLU email account to your mobile phone. At SLU, Outlook is the supported email client for computers and phones. It can be downloaded from the Apple or Android store on your mobile device.
During the installation process, enter your email address also as your username.
The password is your regular SLU password.
Some versions of Outlook require you to go to "Advanced Settings" to make sure the username and mail server fields are filled in.
Email address: firstname.lastname@slu.se
Account type: Microsoft Exchange
Server: webmail.slu.se
Domain: ad.slu.se
Username: firstname.lastname@slu.se (same as the email address)
Password: Your regular AD password.
Description: Suggested name "SLU Mail"
Some Android phones may have trouble connecting the first time if connected to a wireless network (Wi-Fi). Turn off Wi-Fi and configure the account while connected via mobile data. Once it is working, you can turn Wi-Fi back on.
When you change the password on your AD account, you must also manually update the password on your phone.
