Division of Real Estate Management

The Division of Real Estate Management provides infrastructure in the form of land, forests and facilities for research, innovation and teaching. As of 1 March 2019, the division is comprised of four units - Real Estate Management, Forestry & Agricultural Operations, Real Estate Operations, and Facilities & Projects.

The vision of the Division of Real Estate Management is to be the first choice for SLU's academia by managing and developing real estate used by SLU using unique knowledge.

The division's mission

Real Estate Management Unit - The unit's mission is to manage real estate as commissioned by the government as well as real estate donated to SLU and to let properties for research and teaching.

Forestry and Agricultural Operations Unit - The unit's mission is to run forestry and agricultural operations on SLU estates.

Real Estate Operations Unit – The unit's mission is to provide service and maintenance of SLU's own properties and also to take on external assignments, in both cases with quality and efficiency as the guiding principles.

Facilities and Projects Unit – The unit's mission is to ensure that SLU uses and develops our modern campuses in a way that makes them an attractive study and work environment, and to strive for an appropriate and efficient use of facilities.
