Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute

Research infrastructures are necessary for our research and education, but they consume a lot the research grants. Currently, I have an assignment as deputy dean with focus on the research infrastructures, which have provided me with good insights in the strategic questions related to this area. Moreover, competence renewal and research strategy work will be important and I have participated in strategic work with these questions.

Personal reflections

I have been part of the faculty board since 2016 (since 2022, as deputy dean). Via these assignments, I have participated in various boards/groups, at both faculty as well as university level. I like this work, and over the years I have learnt a lot about how things work at SLU, both local within the faculty but also at the university level. So I look forward to continue to learn new things about SLU.
