Images from across SLU for your presentations and documents

A plugin for Microsoft 365 is now available, making it possible to search for and insert images from the SLU Media Bank directly into Word and PowerPoint.

The SLU Image Bank contains images from across the University's activities and is free to use for everyone at SLU. However, the photographer's name must always be credited.

The plugin can be installed via Software Center on Windows computers. For more information about the plugin, see the MediaFlow website.

How to install the plugin

  1. Open Software Center by searching for it in the Windows Start menu.
  2. In Software Center: Search for MediaFlow and double-click the application icon. If you're unsure whether you've found the right one, the image gallery on this page shows what the icon looks like.
  3. Select Install.

Once the plugin has been installed, the Insert image (Image bank) button will be available on the Insert tab in both Word and PowerPoint.

For Mac users

The plugin is not currently available for installation on Mac.
