Decision on Digital Course Schedules for SLU Students

The University Director has decided that SLU will use digital course schedules via the TimeEdit system for all courses. The implementation will begin in the academic year 2025/2026.
Our students have repeatedly expressed a desire for digital course schedules with an interface that looks the same regardless of the course and that can always be found in a specific place.
Today, schedules are presented in a variety of ways, which results in a low recognition factor and makes readability difficult. A uniform, digital schedule format is in line with SLU's digitalisation strategy and offers several advantages, including real-time updates.
Education and Support During Implementation
In short, the Division for Learning and Digitalisation and the Room Booking Unit will provide more information to you as a course leader about the support that will be offered to get started with digital schedules and how you can further develop functions if you are already using them.
The support includes, among other things, interactive videos, training sessions via Zoom, and personal meetings at the departments. If you would like to book a time for more information already now, for example in connection with an existing departmental meeting, please get in touch via the contact channels below.
On the webpage Digital course schedule in TimeEdit you can read more about how to get started or further develop your digital course schedule.
