Seminar on how to engage in dialogue with AI
The second internal seminar within the ‘AI for Teachers’ initiative took place on 8 May. More than 140 university lecturers from SLU’s various faculties attended – an impressive turnout.
This time project leader and educational developer Matt Low from EPU delivered a presentation on how to engage in dialogue with AI. The AI skills seminar explored the concept of ‘prompt engineering’ – how interactions with AI influence the quality of the responses.
This involves not only how to formulate effective prompts, but also how to use interview-style prompting, prompt generation techniques, self-reflective and reasoning-based prompts.
Keep an eye on SLU’s educational initiative on AI for teachers, which has now been launched. All those who are interested are welcome – teachers as well as other staff involved in education.
