SLU Aqua crisis management team activated

In connection with the boating accident in Oxelösund, in which two men in their 60s lost their lives while out on a fishing vessel on Christmas Day, SLU Aqua’s crisis management team has been activated.

What we know at present is that SLU Aqua has an ongoing project collaboration involving the fishing vessel concerned.

We are in dialogue with central SLU (the Dean, the Vice-Chancellor, and the Press Officer), and the staff members most directly affected have been informed.

The crisis management team was deactivated on January 16.
