Long-awaited inauguration of new professors

On April 8, ten new professors were inaugurated in a ceremony that took place at SLU’s Uppsala Campus. The ceremony was followed by a banquet and dancing at Uppsala Castle.
Four of the professors gave their inauguration lectures the day before, on April 7. The others gave their lectures last year, but then the formal inauguration ceremony could not take place due to the pandemic. All lectures were webcast, and recordings of last year's lectures are available at www.slu.se/professorer. This year's lectures will be made available as soon as possible. Half of these lectures were given in English.
