Instructions and supplementary decision for studyperiod 3

End of semester and exams

14 January, the end of the semester, is a date when several exams are scheduled to take place in Uppsala. Several rooms are fully booked and the public spaces may be crowded, making it difficult to observe the guidelines to avoid crowding to minimise the spread of infection. Courses that can reschedule exams for 11 January, 12 January or Saturday 15 January, or offer them as take-home exams, are encouraged to do so. Contact the exam services team at tentamen@slu.se to cancel or change a room booking.

 Study period 3 (17 January 2022 – 23 March 2022)

SLU is taking measures to minimise the spread of infection, as per the government’s decision and the guidelines issued by the Public Health Agency. The instructions and supplementary decision on teaching for period 2 will be extended to apply for period 3 as well, as long as the situation doesn’t substantially deteriorate or improve regarding the spread of infection. A formal decision on study period 3 will be taken shortly and will be advertised on the staff web.

Should the infection rate in Sweden increase again, the government may decide to implement stage 2 of its action plan. If that happens, SLU will withdraw the supplementary decision on full capacity utilisation in classrooms.
