Do you want to try Mentimeter in your teaching?

Published: 10 February 2020

Mentimeter is software that allows you to conduct quick tests/ “duggor” (written assignments or equivalent) at class level. You receive the students’ replies immediately during the lecture.

SLU will try Mentimeter in 2020. During the trial period, 150 teachers from SLU will get to try Mentimeter in their teaching.

  • Using Mentimeter, you can create interesting and educational presentations for your lectures by asking questions, creating surveys, slides, images, etc.
  • Students can take part in the lecture by answering questions, providing feedback, etc.
  • You can also use it as a "dugga" to test your students' prior knowledge before, during or after a class.
  • Finally, you can share the results and export them for further long-term analysis.

How do I access Mentimeter?

The Division of Learning, Media and Digitalisation provides Mentimeter licenses. During the trial period, we will allocate 150 licenses. In order to access Mentimeter, we would like you to share your experiences through a survey that we will send to you.
