New docents

Decision was made on four new docents. Congratulations to Grattis till Nils Fall, Gunnar Carlsson, Emma Ivarsson and Stefan Örn!

Scholarships 2019

Vice Dean Henrik Rönnberg told about the scholarship committee's work and the faculty board could decide on allocation to applicants from nine grant funds, according to the committee's proposal.

Education news

Vice Dean of Undergraduate Education, Johanna Penell announced that the Faculty's two proposals for two years 50% start-up support for senior lectureship were approved after a thorough preparatory work, and that we now can proceed in the process of recruitment.

SWOT

The vice-chancellor has previously requested a SWOT analysis from the faculties. Our deans and heads of department have done the analysis and the faculty board gave its comments. The insights from the analysis are that we need to prioritize competence supply and that there is a need for marketing of our research and our education. The Faculty Board sees the analysis as a really good start for the strategy work going forward.
