A Friday greeting from the Prefect!
The week started out with docent lectures where KV's Désirée Jansson made a brilliant contribution with the lecture "Poultry medicine - local and global trends"!
On Wednesday, we got more positive news when Formas granted funding for five projects based at KV! Congratulations to Miia Riihimäki, Gabriela Olmos Antillón, Catarina Svensson, Ylva Sjunnesson and (believe it or not) myself! Congratulations also to everyone who has been a co-applicant on various granted projects! Last but not least, I hope that everyone who did not receive funding this time, to digest selected parts of your assessments (yes, it is a bit of a lottery), and come back stronger as soon there is a new research call!
On Thursday next week, KV has "ledningsråd" and on Friday at this time I hope as many of us as possible celebrate Christmas at Norrland nation! Before the Christmas dinner, please remember to come to Audhumbla next Friday at 15:30 when Maria Engedahl and I will present the basic thoughts behind the "Together project" (collaboraton between KV (VH) and UDS).
During week 48 I will be in my office Wednesday-Friday.
