Integrating Agenda 2030 into higher education - SLU involved in capacity building in Bangladesh

In collaboration with SLU Global, SLU's Division of Learning and Digitalisation was involved in the development and implementation of a 5 days training programme on 13-17 October at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) in Cumilla, Bangladesh.

Over 60 faculty members from 30 different universities participated in the training that aimed to expand participants' knowledge and understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhance the capacity of integrating SDGs relating to sustainable food and agriculture into policies and curricula.

The training program was jointly organized by Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), Swedish University of Agricultural Science (SLU), and Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

From SLU attended Peter Aspengren and Roger Pettersson, Division of Learning and Digitalisation and Katarina Börling from SLU Global.
