Films and photos from the launching of R/V Svea

R/V Svea, SLU’s new research vessel, was launched on the 18th of July 2018 in Vigo, Spain. Several months of work remain before the construction of the ship is finalized. Svea will then be Sweden’s largest and most modern research and survey vessel. On this page you will find films and photos from the launching. One of the films has been made by Armon Shipyards and the other one is shot with a mobile phone under field conditions.
