Therese Åhlvik
Presentation
In my PhD, I focus on the communicative challenges involved in a transition to (what is often referred to as) a sustainable society. My specific interest lies in the role of 'hope-talk' in this transition. I offer an alternative way of studying hope that complement literature exploring the strategic importance of this social phenomenon in Environmental Communication.
Part of my doctoral studies is carried out within the project Communication between hope and ambiguity – on coordination for conversion to a circular economy in sustainable food systems.
