Lara Tickle
Lara Tickle is a PhD at the Environmental Communication and Management division at the department of Department of Urban and Rural Development. She is interested in empirical and theoretical research concerning frameworks of wildlife management with a focus on hunting, alienation, ethics, commodification and governance.
Presentation
She is currently working on the project Challenges Facing Swedish Hunting Ethics which forms part of her PhD thesis. Her previous work concerned the social effects of modernity whereby demographic and technological changes have affected human relations to nature and wild fauna. Hunting is at the centre of her research as a platform for human-wildlife interaction. She is experienced in governmental policy administration and has a background in both human and physical geography.
