Presentation
I work at the Library (in the unit for Data Management Support), with user support, information and education regards the management of research data. This means e.g. assisting in the writing of data management plans, curating data (quality checking) to be published, and presenting legal regulations (such as the Swedish archive law and GDPR) and what they mean when you work at SLU.
My job title is Business developer (verksamhetsutvecklare), since neither "Data manager" or "Data steward" are included in the SLU employment vocabulary.
My professional identities would be researcher, senior lecturer, historian and archivist - I have been employed as such by the SLU departments of ecology, crop production ecology, molecular sciences, and soil & environment, and prior to that at the archives of the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).
Teaching
At SLU, I teach and inform about data management, data publication, Open science and the FAIR principles, GDPR and the Principle of public access to official records (Offentlighetsprincipen/allmänna handlingar).
At Uppsala University and Umeå University, I have been employed as senior lecturer (universitetslektor) and taught on all academic levels: ground, advanced and PhD-level. I have supervised, given lectures and seminars, e.g. within the ground level course in the history of science and ideas, on academical writing, on the history of Uppsala university, and gender theory of science. I have also created courses and course modules, such as Feminismens klassiker (Classics in Feminism) and Vetenskapsmannen - galning eller hjälte (The Scientist: Lunatic or Hero?).
Research
