Webinar | What do I need to know and do as a supervisor (host) for an MSCA-PF applicant?

seminars, workshops |

The SLU Grants Office invites PI:s who are planning to host and support a postdoctoral fellow in writing an application for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) to a dedicated webinar.

Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) offer prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowships (PFs), aimed at enhancing the career of early-career researchers through mobility, excellent research, new experiences and skills. To support applicants in the upcoming MSCA-2026-PF call (with a deadline on September 9, 2026), the SLU Grants Office is organising a series of interactive webinars, providing key information and advice for developing competitive MSCA-PF proposals (please find links to the webinars on 29 May, 4 June and 9 June here).

Since we know that the supervisor (host) of an MSCA fellow is key for developing a strong proposal, we invite all SLU researchers who are curious about and/or have committed to host and support an MSCA-PF applicant to an associated webinar for supervisors.

Besides key information about the MSCA-PF, you will receive a roadmap for how you as a supervisor can contribute to making the proposal successful, pinpointing parts of the application where your contribution is essential. Overall, we will cover the following:

  • MSCA – a political instrument with an agenda
  • Key information about MSCA-PF
  • Proposal expectations and evaluation – policies and documents to keep track of
  • Laying the MSCA puzzle
  • Shaping a MSCA-PF proposal – overall structure and the importance of the supervisor

Register below and meet us on Zoom on 12 June, 09:0011:00.
