Research infrastructure workshop series LTV faculty

seminars, workshops |

The LTV faculty is organizing a workshop series to showcase various research infrastructures at the faculty.

Welcome to workshop 4, where we will have a guided tour of The Swedish National Gene Bank for Vegetatively Propagated Horticultural Crops, SLU Multisensory outdoor laboratory (Sensola), and SLU Trädgårdslaboratorium.

We will explore several fascinating aspects of these three infrastructures, including:

  • A unique collection of older horticultural crops from all over Sweden.
  • A well-equipped multisensory lab with unique possibilities for using wearable sensors in real life settings. Come and try the equipment hands on!
  • An outdoor cultivation lab with various growth facilities for research and education.

Join us to explore these facilities and, of course, to have a nice cup of coffee in the SLU trädgårdslaboratorium.

Please note that we will meet at Pomonavägen 6 with a welcome at 13.15. Thereafter we will walk to the three facilities. The entire event will be outdoors.
