Globally, a systematic transformation into more sustainable diets is urgently required. Multidisciplinary research projects have great potential for ground-breaking knowledge to push this field forward.
The aim of this workshop is for SLU and Karolinska institutet (KI) researchers to meet and discuss research projects and ideas. We will start with a session where individual researchers will meet for “speed dating” and thereafter we will have discussions in groups on specific topics/challenges. We will end with a joint discussion with the aim to finalise an action plan for joint research activities and grant proposals.
Programme:
9.00-9.30 Introduction including brief presentations of the KI Centre for Nutrition, SLU Future One Health and SLU Future Food
9.30-10.15 Speed-dating KI and SLU researchers including coffee
10.15-11.15 Discussions on specific topics in groups
11.15-12.00 Joint discussion and action plan
12.00-13.00 Lunch sandwich, mingle
