New projects within the future platform SLU Future Forests; the World in the Swedish forest

This time, the workshop will start with future important questions regarding internationalization and the Swedish forest. After a few short inspirational presentations, we will focus on discussions between researchers in order to enable the development of new project ideas and future programs. Some of the questions that we want to address are:

• What role does Swedish forest and forestry have in the global perspective?
• What will be the influence of EU-politics on Swedish forestry in the future?
• Conflicts regarding land use, where are the common denominators in an international perspective?
• Who works in the forest? Migration- and labor policy in an EU-perspective.
