Organiser: SLU Alumni
On 26 February, SLU will host a visit from the newly started company Swegreen. The company was started by (among a few others) two SLU Alumni, Sepehr Mousavi and Sixten Lundqvist and it is situated in central Stockholm.
SweGreen is an innovation and technology urban farming company based in Stockholm, Sweden. The company provides futuristic, smart and circular solutions for controlled-environment urban farming.
“By integrating smart vertical farming solutions into real-estate properties we provide circular energy-waste-water and carbon-absorbing systems, which not only enable us to offer locally grown and top-notch quality greens, but also helps minimize any facility's environmental footprint”, SweGreen describes their business concept.
During the visit, Swegreen will present their activities and discuss possible collaboration on research & innovation as well as opportunities for students.
