Åmliden’s Hunting Club is a hunting club for all employees at SLU in Umeå.
The hunting club has been active since 1978 and shares its name with the old abandoned “kronotorp” situated in the middle of the hunting grounds. The hunting activities focus on both moose and small game on our 4 000 hectares large hunting ground, which we lease from the forest company Sveaskog. The hunting grounds are situated in Ekopark Skatan, approximately 20 km from Hällnäs in Vindeln’s municipality.
Most departments and administrative units at SLU Umeå are represented among our members. This means that we have members on a wide spectrum of work duties, ages, sexes and nationalities. We have two member types: moose + small game hunter or small game hunter. And we would very much like to have more members!

If you just want to experience a hunt you are welcome to join us as a spectator or hunting guest, especially when we hunt moose.
