Printing and selling course readers

In order to sell course readers they should, according to ekonomihandboken 10.5.7, be produced and printed by a department or by SLU's Layout and print service with the purpose of being used as teaching material. Course readers are sold to the students VAT-free. SLU is not permitted to sell literature that is commercially available.
How to sell course readers through SLU Service Centre
Course readers are ordered through Layout and Print Services by filling out the form "Blankett för tryck och försäljning av kompendier" (see link to the form below).
Once the material is printed, Layout and Print Services deliver the course readers and the form to the SLU Service Centre. The form states the information needed to add the article to the till.
About a month after the course starts, the department should pick up the remaining material, as the Service Centre has limited warehousing space.
