Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute

One of the most critical future challenges for the faculty is the quality of education. If we fail to offer a program that attracts the best students and equips them with the skills needed by future forest experts, we risk losing both our research capacity and relevance. With nearly 30 years of experience in research and education, I am committed to actively contributing to ensuring an education that meets these demands and to helping shape the future of forestry research.

Personal reflections

Our faculty plays a key role in driving research, development, and education in forestry and sustainability. To maintain this central role, it is crucial that we not only address today's problems but also prepare for the complex challenges of the future. This means that our activities must be both current and forward-looking, while also ensuring that the full breadth of our expertise is visible, relevant, and in demand in society.
