Förändringar i Nät 2.0 påverkar Skara VPN

As part of activating Nät 2.0 in Skara, vpn-skara.slu.se will be phased out.

Why is the change happening?

As the underlying infrastructure, such as servers, storage and associated network functions, is being migrated to Ultuna, there is no longer a need to maintain a separate VPN service for Skara.

How does this affect me as a user?

This change applies to all users who currently connect to the Skara VPN, including both students and staff. Going forward, these users will instead connect via the Ultuna VPN, vpn-uppsala.slu.se. The functionality previously provided through the Skara VPN will continue to be available via the Ultuna VPN, meaning that access to affected resources and services will be maintained.

When will the change take place?

The change will be implemented as part of the Net 2.0 activation, which is currently planned for week 22.
